Start small

The probe unfolds into your first base, and a rover hauls ore from the nearest vein. What you build next is up to you: a bigger cargo bed, a richer source or faster assembly.

Balance production

Ore becomes parts, crystals unlock new tech. When mining, transport and processing fit together, the colony runs. When they don’t, you see exactly where it’s stuck: a full depot, missing supplies, an idle rover.

On to the next world

Build a new probe and it flies to the next planet. Every world has its own conditions. On one the deposits are close, on another the veins are rich and far away. That’s when splitting your fleet matters.

A network of colonies

The galaxy view shows all your colonies side by side and where each one is stuck. Three worlds, seven chapters and 28 projects link them into one network. At the end you send off the seed fleet.

When you come back

Your rovers keep driving while the game is closed. For an hour at first, up to 24 hours with bigger depots.

When you return, Kolonaut shows you what arrived and what’s next. No need to check in every ten minutes.

FAQ

What does Kolonaut cost?

Nothing. You can play the whole game for free. The app sells energy cells that start a turbo or jump a few hours ahead. You never need them.

Are there ads?

In the app only when you start one yourself: a short video gets you ten minutes of turbo. No ads interrupt your game.

Do I need an account?

No. Your save stays on your device. You can export it as a file and load it on another device.

Does the game keep running when I close it?

Yes. Your colony keeps working, for an hour at first and up to 24 hours with bigger depots.

When and where can I play?

Kolonaut is coming soon as an app for iPhone, iPad and Android. There is no browser version.

Which languages?

English and German. You can switch in the settings.
