Where is my save stored?
Locally on your device. Kolonaut has no account and no server that knows your progress. Under Settings you can back it up as a file with “Export save” and import it again on another device.
Export your save before you switch devices or delete the app. Deleting removes the local save. Whether your phone’s backup includes it depends on your system settings.
What happens when I’m not playing?
Your colony keeps working. For one hour at first, up to 24 hours with bigger stores. Full stores or missing supplies slow it down during that time as well. Next time you open the game you see what arrived.
My rover stopped. What now?
Check the status line above the navigation. If it shows a warning, tapping it takes you to the right view. Usually a store is full, a machine lacks material or stock is reserved for a build.
What are Power Cells?
They speed up your colony in the app. A turbo makes it work twice as fast for ten minutes, a time skip credits one or four hours of production at once. You can reach everything in the game without cells.
Your balance only exists on your device. It is not part of the export file and is gone if you delete the app. We cannot restore it. If a purchase did not arrive, restart the app and the store delivers open purchases. If that does not help, you can request a refund from Apple or Google.
Are there ads?
Only if you want them. In the app you can watch a short video for ten minutes of turbo or to double what your colony made during a break, up to ten times a day. There are no ads that interrupt you.
